Tapping

How is it done?

"Hammer" on the tissue with the tip of the cup, select the intensity as you feel (increase slowly).

Tip: Two cups can be plugged into one another for a better grip and more stability.

What happens?

This technique is a good preparation for further cupping applications. Specific tension can dissolve so well. Traditionally, many tapping techniques are known, including MET, EFT, and tapping acupressure. The tapping can loosen the tissue and promote blood circulation.

Typical exercises with Tapping

Use the tip of the cup to gently tap your breastbone.

Tip: You can insert a small cup into the large one and then place both cups on your index finger like a thimble for more stability.

For this exercise we recommend:

Use the tip of the cup to tap locally on the trigger point or painful area. Tap around your shoulder joint in a circular motion. Start with less intensity at first and increase it if necessary.
