Neck and shoulders

Cupping on the shoulders is a wonderful way to relieve tension and relax the body. The gentle negative pressure of the cupping application stimulates the skin and promotes blood circulation, which many find soothing and invigorating. Especially after a long day or when one-sided strain is placed on the body, cupping can help to loosen the shoulders and support a feeling of lightness and mobility. It is an effective and simple method to pamper the shoulder area and give yourself a little break from everyday life - ideal for gaining new energy.

Place several cups of your choice on the pain spots on the shoulder joint and leave them there. Pick up a weight (e.g. dumbbell, water bottle). Do not lift your arm during the exercise, just let your shoulder circle in both directions or move it up and down. Do the exercise for about 45 seconds, then switch to the other side.

Place one or more cups of your choice on the painful areas of the shoulder joint and leave them there. Then start to slowly move your arm back and forth or rotate it for about 60 seconds. Pay attention to what makes you feel good at the moment.

Use the tip of the cup to tap locally on the trigger point or painful area. Tap around your shoulder joint in a circular motion. Start with less intensity at first and increase it if necessary.

Tip: You can insert a small cup into the large one and then place both cups on your index finger like a thimble for more stability.

It is best to have another person with you to help you reach difficult areas. Sit up straight and let your head fall to the side. Place a cup of your choice on the stretched area on your neck and slowly slide the cup down from your neck to your shoulder blade or shoulder joint. Slide it a few times before switching to the other side.

Stand or sit upright. Raise your left hand, place it on your right temple and let your head fall to the left side. Place a cup of your choice on the stretched area of the neck. Hold the stretch for 10-15 seconds, then repeat on the other side.
